In this guide, we'll show you how to increase the amount of memory that Mighty Pirates (or any game!) has access to. This is a handy way to improve game performance and is also known to fix the odd bug!
Computers need memory to run programs. You're able to read this because your computer has allocated memory to your web browser. If there's too little memory to go about, any program will start stuttering because your computer need to shuffle around a lot of information to get things done. Your system usually avoids that by giving memory thirsty programs more memory.
Happy Aquarium is in a different situation though because it's a program run within another program; Flash. As a consequence, if you want Happy Aquarium to get a bigger piece of the cake, you'll have to do it manually.
Below, you'll find a step-by-step guide on how to increase the amount of memory Happy Aquarium can access from the standard 100kb (a very small amount) to 10mb (a rather generous amount but still an insignificant part of any modern hard drive).
Before we embark, you'd want to make sure you're running a new version of the Flash player. You can see which version you're currently running over here.
If your version of Flash is lower than 10, download the newest Flash player over here. Press Agree and Install and follow the instructions. The latest update is currently 10.1

What are you waiting for! There's loot to plunder, competitors to subdue and treasure maps to be stolen!
YAAAR!!
